Eisenhower Hall Theatre will host a Ring Weekend Concert exclusively for the West Point Community (Cadets, Faculty, Staff, Alumni and their family/guests). This is event is not OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

 

The "Ring Weekend" is a very important tradition of United States Military Academy. Ring Weekend celebrates the "Firsties" (seniors) who will be graduating in May 2019, and will soon lead soldiers in the Army as a Second Lieutenant.

 

During the Ring Ceremony, they will receive their graduating class rings at Trophy Point, dressed in their India White uniforms. After receiving their rings, the "Firsties" are besieged by Plebes (freshman) who attempt to encircle the "Firsties" and recite the "Ring Poop". Since 1835, the Ring Ceremony is a milestone of great importance to all West Point Cadet's and the West Point community.
